IN MEMORIAM
Donald L (Don) Johnson, 72, died Sunday, October 23, 2005, at
Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS. He graduated from Salina High
School. Don worked many years as a vending facility operator in
Salina and Wichita; spent several years at Kansas Industries for
the Blind; and, worked as a receptionist with Economic and Employment
Support Services of Kansas Social and Rehabilitation Services. He
was a long-time member of KABVI and the Lions Club.
Don is survived by his wife, Nancy; a son, Christopher of Salina;
a daughter, Elayne Gibson of Newton; two granddaughters, Samantha
Cinalli and Trinity Gibson; and a brother, Harold of Topeka.
Don bequeathed his body to the University of Kansas Medical School.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Diabetes
Association or Handi-Hams (a program for amateur radio for persons
with disabilities). Contributions should be sent to Davidson Funeral
Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave. Topeka, KS 66608.
